Image Manipulation- has it gone to far?

I think that many of images in magazines shouldn't be seem as reality, but now of days what can be? As technology matches toward, it feels like we lose a bit of what is truly real. People and Companies that push photo-manipulation without clearly stating that its there are really in the end destroying our sense of reality and creating a standard of beauty and identity that no one can achieve.

I think that this shows how dangerous photo-manipulation can be, especially if many people aren't aware of how easily it can be done. An example of this can be in the form of black mail, manipulating an image to make it seem as that a person is cheating on their spouse and etc. We as people need to get a grasp on reality again, be happy of how you are and what you look like and if that something you what to thing, work towards it and if you can't change it, the accept it and move on.
